Welcome to the July SQL Challenge! We've prepared more new SQL exercises for you. If you've finished our SQL Basics course, this is a good way to practice your SQL skills. Are you ready to test your knowledge?
Let's start our July 2020 SQL Challenge!
Even if you are from the USA, you may not know all the facts about the 50 states. What rivers flow through the most states? What states have the most land area? How about population? Write the SQL queries for our tasks and you'll find the answers.
If you've finished our SQL Basics course, you'll be able to solve the tasks – and if you need a little help, you can find in the Hints. You'll also learn a bit about PostgreSQL's PostGIS extension, which allows you to store geographical coordinates and see them on a map.
In each exercise, you can see a sample of the data. Look in the right-hand menu, under the "Database" tab.
