New Monthly SQL Practice for January 2024!

In our January 2024 SQL Practice, you’ll meet Julie. She is the owner of an online store where she sells handmade crochet items. She has hired you to help her with data analysis to grow her business. What are the best-selling products? Which products bring the most revenue? Can you create reports to help her with sales trends? You will find all the answers in the data. You just need to figure out how to get them out of the database using SQL.

This SQL Practice is at an advanced level and is aimed at those who have finished our Window Functions course or otherwise have equivalent knowledge on the topic. If you are not yet comfortable working with window functions, check out our interactive window functions course and then come back here for more practice.

Each Monthly SQL Practice features a different business or hobby. We’ve had practices featuring family trees, a language school, a book exchange, a job agency, rental cars, stars and astronomy, auto repair, baking, pizza, movies, U.S. cities, and more.

Our exercises are based on real business scenarios. There are no abstract theories here, just everyday business problems. You can copy most of the SQL queries you write in these exercises and use them in your own projects. This is what they call a hands-on SQL course!
